Hello! I recently aquired an HP841 setup including the gearbox for $50 cad! I am currently in the process of tearing it apart to clean and inspect all the components, and I am wondering how the front ngv vane type of thing with the hub comes off? Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks

There is a large snapring on the outside which i removed. There is a bit of surface rust so that might be making it stuck...

Yeah, it was just the snap ring and a snug fit. I just pulled the NGV off once I got the snap ring out.
If it is a bit tough, maybe a light tap with a rubber or plastic hammer?
