I'm working on our graduation project, and we need to design a micro jet engine. However, I'm having trouble finding clear guidance on the equations needed to design the combustion chamber. If you can help me out with resources, I'd greatly appreciate it.
My project involves designing a microjet engine to be mounted on an RC airplane. We're constrained by a specific design point which is mass flow rate =0.3 kg/s . The challenge lies in starting the design of the combustion chamber. I have information on the mass flow rate and maximum temperature, but I'm unsure how to divide the combustion chamber into primary, secondary, and tertiary zones, as well as determining the size of the holes. If anyone has experience in this area and can guide me through the process, I would be extremely grateful. I'm eager to finish my graduation project and tired of spending days reading vague and non-specific textbooks.
I need some help finding equations or reliable rules. Despite checking numerous references on gas turbine theory, I haven't found any useful ones.

Is it going to be RC micro turbine engine or a turbocharger based engine .
Do a search for .....

Theres always the GTBA www.gtba.co.uk/ the original home of RC micro turbine evolution since the mid 1990's, the amount of info is staggering . If you need more specific info , please ask away :-) Cheers John

I need more help because the references don't explain things practically, and most of them are too hard for beginners like me. Right now, I'm reading and studying this material you provided. And I'll make sure to include your help in our final report as away to say thanks

With turbine engines its difficult to find simple explanations because the subject isn't simple unfortunately :-(
I'll have a look through my stuff to see if I can find another Paper worth reading
