Typical oil temps/oil seal materials.

Hi guys
I'm continuing my in tank oil pump build and I will be wanting a seal for the input shaft (this wont be immersed in oil). What are typical oil temps from a turbocharger based jet... its literally smoking when it comes out of mine, I've never measured the temp.
The most common seals seem to be nitrile.

Viton seals have a better high temp resistance ..

Viton seals have a better high temp resistance .. But stiffer than Buna -N ( nitrile) and more expensive

Up to 300c, much higher.
