Hi,
I'm doing my first turbojet build and I have questions about the injection pipe. I'm running a Garrett turbo with a 36mm inducer. The flame tube is 200 mm long and has a diameter of 63 mm. The air inlet is on the side of the chamber, 1/4 of the way from the front part where the fuel will be injected. The propane injection tube has a diameter of 19 mm but I have some questions: 1. How many centimeters should I insert the tube into the chamber? 2. How many holes should I make in the tube? What size should the holes be? I have seen in other forum threads that it is best to inject the fuel radially, so I had planned to make holes around the tube but I don't know how many to make or what size.
I'm a bit new to this, I hope you can help me.
Thank you so much.

Hi
You need the propane to inject at the same level as the Primary Zone air holes , the injector tubing can be much smaller than 19mm , but as long as your 19mm tube is blanked off at the end and all fuel is injected radially within the flametube you'll be OK , as to injector hole sizes and number , probably 6 X 1mm dia
Cheers John
