www.youtube.com/watch?v=33tQaFnb8mQHello, I am finally almost finished with my combustion chamber and am looking to start attaching it to my turbo soon. My original plan was to have it attach right at the combustion chamber, but now I kind of want to angle my turbo charger outward so the thrust is in line with the combustion chamber. To do this, I would need to increase the length of the pipe to resemble what the person did in the video I put a link to. Would there be any significant loss in efficiency or thrust? Im sure there would be some but I just want to make sure it wont be more than like 5-10% or else I will probably go another route

There can be losses and "problems" if the bend doesn't produce a smooth flow, so a largish radius bend is best unless turning vanes are installed in a smaller bend

So do you think this would be a decent enough bend or should I try and find one with a larger radius? www.ebay.com/itm/166341176490?chn=ps&mkevt=1&mkcid=28&srsltid=AfmBOor2SDWn0UzrQsolZPIcnb_9NxEf03pdHB4KwfZFM-Fcpr1a5wLKIEk My flame tube is 6", so I have a 6" to 3" reducer pipe coming off of that, and then I would weld that elbow connector in the link to the 3" end of the pipe reducer. Also, comp inducer is 61.5mm if that will make a difference

If you find one side of the bend starts to get a lot hotter than the opposite side because of turbulence caused by the differences in speed at the inner side to the outer side , then you may need to go to a larger radius , but hopefully its large enough in flow area that the speeds can be accommodated .
