LOL.....I've been clean for a few years now .....................cold turkey wasn't an option for me , I had to wean myself by going on an "afterburner program" ;-)
Once an addict always an addict .........I have to tell myself every morning, " I am a freepower addict" ..................it helps me get through the day .......................but I know one of these days I'll relapse and go back in big time .......................the lure of "just once more" will become irresistable ....................I fear it'll be an OD for sure :-(
Thankfully most of my stash is packed away in boxes , but they'll be unpacked sooner or later , then the urge will be hard to resist .......................especially that hard core C30 4th stage freepower wheel just itchin' to have 4lbs/sec of hot gases pumped through its veins ........oops, blades.
Anders , you're a young guy , its not too late to kick the habit ....... the rush of pure uninterupted acceleration that you never want to stop .................its a terrible addiction ........stop while you can :-)

If jet power is like smoking heroine power turbines must be like injecting it straight up the ass, lately I´ve started to feel bad when running a turbine as a pure jet since I am only thinking about all those fine horsepowers going up in smoke...

to hell with that, detox is pretty uncomforable..... and intervention?....... well that's just plain f'n rude. Back to addiction-
Ernie, about the walter, find an old dragster frame and I'll take care of the whole driveline. A dragster would be an excellent development platform being all open. (sucks crawling into the back of the van sometimes....) After we get the turbine and driveline straightened out and if we get bored with the rail we can make a wheelie car, people will shit when they see that coming........
I must say this addiction has the best support group! Rehab is for quitters!

I am proud of YOU!! It took a couple of days but you finally realized that you are no more that a adrenalin junky like the rest of us.
How dare you thinking you were better than JATO... :0
I like the dragster idea, light, add a franklin style rear with quick change gears, maybe 2:75 or less rear ratio with tall tires and double under drive trans.
