oil pump and oil filter assembly bracket completed as well as oil inlet line to turbo finished! still wondering, changing setup, design, redesign changing again of the combustor build due to the fact that it MUST be simple because i dont own any TIG equipment, dont know anyone with such Equipment living Close to uppsala either, so it MUST be simple to make, the same thing with the nice oil tanks, have to abandon that idea because of welding Stainless!! now have other ideas of that area BUT still soon it comes to a major hault when things have to be TIG welded cheers/stephan I had the same problem, a TIG system is normally many thousands of GBP here which was out of my range. I bought one of the Chinese TIG units that float around eBay and it actually works great! I've had it welding at over a 150A for an hour and it didn't fail so it seems to not be as bad as it's reputation The same model I have (WSE 200P) is about 5000 SEK shipped to your door: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WSE200P-AC-DC-TIG-MMA-PULSE-WELDING-INVENTER-WELDER-NEW-/180708746280?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2a1314a428Maybe that is more afordable to you? There might be a cheaper one on your local eBay.

YES, i understand john but the hydraulic unit i have gives me 100 bar pressure, that is with hydraulic oil ofcourse,i dont tested it with jetfuel yet but i think it should be around 100 bar+- 10-20 bar maybe, i dont know really but it should be enough, you think i should add a pressure relief valve in there John? cheers/stephan Hi Stoffe64, I too once used a hydraulic pump capable of 2200 psi with the hydraulic oil for pumping diesel in my turbojet project... BUT once i tested that pump with diesel the pressure got reduced to JUST 160 psi at same power settings.... ? All the above tests were done with that pump coupled to 1 HP motor.... Cheers, Madpatty

hmmm....THAT was interesting to hear Madpatty, but ofcourse diesel or kero is less viscous than oil. thanks for your input Madpatty, i have to consider that, IF i ever come that far with my Project, im still stucked with being TIG less, mrs dont like idea of investing in a TIG welder with my returntax Money. cheers/stephan

As I wrote in my PM try to make one like this from a round tube first and see how it works, two stainless flaps guiding the air towards the rectangular turbine scroll intake. Cheers! /Anders
