Hmm, well if you guys insist. This poll seems a bit one sided and Chris, I hesitate to quote you on your post on the private board. If you guys really want to do this, I think the board should get a major restructure and overhaul. I think we need to put a "gun/cannon" section in an off-topic category, and remove a few boards that are already present, merging the posts into existing categories where they seem appropriate. Maybe remove merge the APU/GPU section with turbines and leave DIY by itself?

EDIT: I suppose this also means we will need to get on that secret project involving the aluminum rails before we get shown up in front of all these foreigners?

Removing some of the less visited boards feels like a step in the right direction, and a cannon board under the Off Topic section wouldn´t hurt as long as the focus of the JATO community remains on jet engines.

I assume we are talking about home built cannons/guns etc? =)

I just want to be there when you test it. 4. I think the forum should be open to all weapons home made and not.

I did, rather I should have used it years ago. WHAT DID YOU SAY? Right, that's why I admin a text based forum now. All the options seemed reasonable at the time and at least turbines give you a "warning" that the loud stuff is getting progressively louder. The 50 didnt say anywhere on the box that I would need hearing protection. Actually it probably did. Anyways I dont buy a friggin gun to read.

Haha, this poll is a bit old, we opened the section and closed it due to a lack of interest. (Eyeballing all of you who voted yes)... If there is any fresh interest in this sort of a board, I'll bring it back

I just feel Guns and Cannons are a little off topic, turbines provide motive power while guns and cannons launch projectiles?

This board is called "Jet & Turbine Owners" and think the main focus should be on the construction, maintenance and operation of Jet and turbine engines.

There are thousands of sites about guns, but very few about Turbines.

Having said that there is a section for "off topic", so discussion there would be perfect......and "my mom told me I had to say no" ............
