Ha!!! In Moscow these temperatures are in summer)))) But very very rarely. (18 C quite often) But there are some places where can be colder than +6 during summer))) I have never been in those places))) Now in Moscow warm nearly 25 celsius. Have you ever seen a kangaroo in a wild? ))) Or an alligator or some another interesting animal? In what part of Australia do you live? Which city?

In South Carolina USA it has been 107'f with heat index up to 114'f. Humidity over 60% on some days. Our hottest days are in August, where it can be over 100' for weeks.

When I transformed Fahrenheits into Celsius I have discovered that Celsius was fellow countryman for Johansson))) In Russia also exist some places with same temperatures (103 Fahrenheits nearly 40 celsius for a weeks). I go there (to Volgograd) in summer holidays. But in winter there can be down to -20 Fahrenheits))) I think that in Australia is also very hot up to 40 C. Ernie, you wrote: been 107'f with heat index up to 114'f. I dont understand what is it "heat index"? As I understand 107f is actually temperature that you can see on thermometer and heat index is something another...

The heat index is the temp with the humidity factored in to give you "what the temp feels to your body"

Is there any supplies of turbine engines that can be bought for a reasonable price? With all the unrest in the area over the years... Things would be available. ie: Mig engines, Mi24 turbines, etc.

Ernie! Every whim by your money! I mean in Russia works this principe: if you have money, you can do or buy everything. Maybe buy kremlin with Putin))) I dont know how much can cost turbine from old aircraft. But I know that on some airfields you can find forgotten tekhnik and then two scenarios: you buy a truck and take this tekhnik (turbine or aircraft) on the truck where you need or you buy this technik by the cost of scrap and take it on your truck. But this tekhnik by its state will be nearly with scrap))) What engine do you want? From MiG-29 or from MiG-15 or 17? You want to make a jet dragster?

Hi Mator
Yeh , theres plenty of kangaroos near where I live , also koalas, not more than 500 metres away in the forest , I live near the sea ( 2 klms) on the east coast down in the southern part ~400 kilometres north of Sydney and ~400 kilometres south of Brisbane , so not as hot and humid as the more tropical parts .
Cheers John
