OK! got this tach figured out....
The bottom 3 post are the tach input. Use a Ohm meter and set it on 200.... get a reading on the 3 terminals ( they will all read the same, approx 78.9 ohms) wire them to your sender and instant read.
I cant find a way to post a pick for you. I will post it on our board.
There are 2 other pins with a low ohm reading... no Idea on those. I thought they might be a back light but easing up on the volts no lite showed up. Better not take a chance on burning something up.
Hope this helps
Thanks Ernie USA I have got to figure ou posting pics... damnit!

Never seen one with 7, the one I have is a 5-pin. Three for the tach and two for lighting. Is it possible it might have some output to trigger a warning lamp?

Very possible. I found 2 post with low OHM resistance, started with a low voltage input and raised it up. At 19 volts with no glow I decided NOT to figure out how much smoke it contained. ;D
So I am still looking for info on the other pinouts..
