I use ss2368 for the NGV vanes, no probs with 900°C TIT. The rest of the NGV is believe it or not mild steel coated with cheramics, works ok so far.

what happent if we use ss 316

316 is a good choice too.

Any stainless with a reasonably high nickel content will hold up at those temperature (that's why inconel is so desirable...)
