I ask John to help me out with the gear ratio, this is what he came up with 18:71= 3.944 :1 ............30:93 = 3.133....................3.944 X 3.133 = 12.359 : 1 ......................so you’d be needing roughly a 1.5 :1 ratio for the chain sprockets , perfectly OK , nice small wheel sprocket for less chain velocity . Cheers, Mark.

Hi Chris, I wont be using the clutch the problem is how can i lock those two small gears in place Or do i just machine up a large chunk of steel rod to replace the center section in the larger gear . Cheers, Mark.
