That was sweet, but didnĀ“t it run a bit hot? Looked like it was constantly hot streaking at the bottom.
This raises an interesting question about micro turbine combustors, the teritary holes should in theory keep the flame zone from reaching past it like it does in larger can combustors but in this case the combustion reaches all the way into the NGV. The heat pattern on my AMT Pegasus confirms this as well.
Still the EGT is relatively low, 600 or so degrees celsius. Is this a design failure or simply the way it has to be with very energy dense combustors?
