The ignitor on my GTP 30-150(f) has 2 white wires going to it. I don't want to fry it by powering it backwards. My understanding is that it will run on 10-30v dc. Can I put DC power and ground either way?
Thanks

Try hooking up to low voltage first 12V should give a low buzz and loud crack about every 0.5-2 seconds. DO NOT LET IT ZAP YOU, the voltage can be lethal....

On the GTP30-67 I ran, one of the wires internally goes to ground. The other is for +24volts This was a transistorized igniter box Old igniter boxes can work for a while or not at all, in which case you might need to replace the main capacitors for detailed info, try here: www.technologie-entwicklung.de/Gasturbines/GTP30-67/gtp30-67.html
