Fine looking vehicle :-)
Yep, Lake Eyre was flooded back in the early seventies , first time in decades , my brother and I drove alongside it at the time , bugger of a trip with all the mud on the dirt track that past off as a road , one semi trailers stuck for weeks trying to did themselves out, using old railway sleepers from the disused rail line that went that way, to jack up on .........drove for 2 days and only past a couple of other mud splattered 4 wheel drives , I was glad to finally hit the tar after all that water and mud , not the sorta place to get stuck , nobody was gunna come to your rescue in those conditions out there .
I hope they find a good home for it.
Cheers John

Dirt cheap for something like that ...............how could you not want to drive it ............sad if it does just get hung on a wall in a used car yard.

Bugga....... for $15k I would have had that.
When I saw the estimate at $30,000 to $50,000 I though no way, over $100,000 at least.
Rosco McGlashan wants $300,000 for his?

A few of us chipped in thinking 20 would see us done but the guy bidding decided after looking at more pics to stop earlier i was thinking with a Viper it may give Roscos record a scare , but existing wheels and tires are a long way off reliable for fast and the rest is too much a questionmark, so not too dissapointed in his decision
