Williams WR24-7-2B Ecu control signal ?

Does anyone out there know the nature of the input signals for the ECU on this engine ?.  All I have is 0- +28v for start and up command and 0-+28v for down command.   Can't figure out if its a variable voltage or a variable duration 28v supply.  Any help would be gratefully received.   Thanks

Did you try measuring the voltage using a multimeter when the 28V is aplied?
