Thats too bad, that week we are away on vacation. I borrowed a die from Olov a couple of days ago and modified some hydraulic couplings so the package with filter, solenoid and pressure gauge can be made as compact as possible. Cheers! /Anders

I bought it for a nitrous project that never was completed, I haven´t measured the max flow yet but it should be good for 1.5L/min me thinks.
I have a data PDF on my computer that I can post when I get back home, I am at my parents place for a couple of days now.
Cheers! /Anders

I bought the solenoid waaay before I knew any of you guys, if it doesen´t flow enough I´ll skip it and simply use the fuel pump as engine shutoff instead. I just have to place the filter and gauge lower than the fuel port on the engine so it won´t flood the engine after shutoff.

Not much happening on the turbine bike right now, I am trying to get the damn Triumph running properly so I have something to haul my arse around this summer. I just got it running on an external battery which proves the rotor/stator isn´t working. Managed to take it for a 20km ride two hours ago without any mishaps, quite fun to ride a rigid bike unless the roads are too bumpy... Anyway, the one thing I can report about the turbine bike is that the windscreen I ordered has arrived. Looks really good and just about the right height. Cheers! /Anders

Hi Anders
LOL......good old Lucas ...the Prince of Darkness ..............thankfully the Japanese arrived and brought motorcycling electrics into the 20th century otherwise they would have stayed in the Dark Ages .
Screen finishes off the fairing nicely :-)

But what is this? Something has gone missing! Phew, there it is! The reason for removing the air intake was to fit the oil pump to it, much better place than to have it hanging under the upper frame tube like it did before. Next up was to fit the fuel filter/pressure gauge combo, the solenoid had to go since it was just one more thing that could cause problems. With the filter placed well below the fuel inlet port on the engine no kerosene can dribble into the engine any way after shutdown. Time to start figuring out how to hook everything up, I have to think it through properly before I go shopping for AN couplings since they aren´t exactly cheap... I started making AN weld fittings for the fuel and oil tanks on the lathe but after a while I decided that the few bucks they cost at the local race store is well worth it to save some trouble. Cheers! /Anders
