Hi, I have a Tiernay T10-1 complete in trailer. I intend to fit it to a bike with hydraulic motor etc... currently it has the very large analogue ECU. does anyone know where I could buy a nice small digital replacement? Its going in a Ducati 996 frame, nicely suited as the "L" twin is quite long and the single sided swing arm is good for exhaust space. obviously not quite as simple as that haha...

You're probably going to have to roll your own.
There has been talks of a few "universal" FADEC's on the boards, haven't seen one come to full fruition.

I have spoken with Wren Turbines, they have programmable units but they felt it wouldn't work in this application. Oh well, more to make..... thank you

Update... i gave up on the bike last month and put the Tt10 into a jetski with a 2:1 reduction box on the end of the engine shaft ( to reduce it to 6000rpm and to reverse the direction) than through a tooth belt drive drive to a variable electric magnetic particle clutch ( my throttle) and finally to the jetski jet pump. Im still using the standard eecm and it will start fine and run fine, but as soon as i try load the clutch it just shuts down. Don’t suppose anyone has any new info on where i can obtain an aftermarket ecu? Im sure they will exist without me trying to re invent the wheel.

Actually I am looking for one myself along with a wiring harness for my TT-10....

Had a look through the manual and the standard ecm will shut the engine down for a whole list of things it does not like. Since you have gone to all the work of hooking up the standard set up it may just be a case of it is looking for a sensor voltage it is not getting. Are you getting a light when it shuts down? over speed? Over temp? under voltage? etc. Ian...
