Hi! I would like to show you my new project: A two-spool engine with 2 stage low pressure Compressor and 4 stage high pressure Compressor. Some tests are already done with the axial turbojet to run with only four compressor stages, but there is some work to do. But nevertheless, it was a success. The new compressor is tested on the turbojet. The planning for the core engine is completed, so the first parts are ready to be manufactured. This is the HP Comp Casing: First CAD Impression: I will post some more infos, pictures and videos soon!

Thanks! I made some tests with the blades and its not possible to manufacture the boring precise enough, because of different milling machine head temperatures. The rotor must be casted and that is a really big task.. But i am nearly on the finish line to get it done. Its really difficult, because the aluminium must be free of hydrogen, shrink holes and the microstructure must be good. Pressure casting, ceramic, Argon, Vacuum and CO2 will be used to achieve it... Hui hui, but its fun to be successful step by step. Bad picture, just to have an idea of the geometrie:

Man, I'm impressed. I think once I finish the TV94 Turboshaft engine I'm going to dive into doing axial engines. =) Looking forward with great anticipation to your progress! Keep it up!!

Hi niffi,
I recently discovered you axial videos on you tube. I'm amazed and have to say that the sound is incredible hearing the harmony of the multiple stages.
Is you outer spool actually setup as bypass on this new project?
Is that's the case this is really a fanjet. Personally I think a micro axial fanjet is the ultimate build.
The other thought I had was I wondered wearer the compressor could be machined from a light material say a plastic as a single part as a way to decrease all the extra weight that you've added. Not a suggestion to change anything just a thought.
Please post more pictures and videos of both the original axial device and progress of this new effort.
Regards
