I have been kind of MIA since February due to moving and starting a new job. I hardly post on here since my knowledge of turbines is a little elementary compared to most of you so I'm guessing no one really noticed. Either way I hope to have a little more to contribute in the future.
I moved to Los Angeles on sort of a whim and had planned to go to school full-time. I applied for a lot of part time jobs two full time jobs. I didn't hear a word back from anyone but Capstone Turbine and SpaceX. Kinda figured those two would be the least likely to call back. Capstone seemed like an awesome place and it hurt but I had to say no. Since then I have been averaging 70hr weeks at spacex as a filament winder making copv helium tanks and "other" parts. I'd share more but due to ITAR its probably best if I don't.
Tours are available to friends so if you are in LA hit me up and I can show you around the main floor.

Congratulations! Not everyone who get a chance to work at a company like that, I am a little bit jealous. :-)

Congratulations Grant, Looks like you picked a great company, I think there would be a lot of questions being asked of employees of Orbital Sciences after the little "Mishap" last week ..... Cheers Ian.
