Pretty funny stuff. I liked the fact you actually tried the damn thing, although I think every turbine owner knows what kero and turbine oil taste like (usually found out with disgust while trying to eat lunch in the workshop).
Glad you found out about the need to soft-start before motoring it, the quill shaft from the motor tapers to only as thick as your little finger and likes to snap. I've heard of two snapped shafts so far.
If you ever need spares I've found a source, they are quite tricky to find unless you speak the Slavic languages.
Cheers,
Jon
Edit: I didn't see a bell-mouth inlet on any of your videos. It's possible the vena-contracta that will form in the inlet might be robbing you of some power. Would be worth adding one (hovercraft duct works).

HI Jon, do you think your contact would have an ignitor wire? The shielded one?
Cheers.

See your PMs, I think there is a good chance. It can be repaired without too much trouble if not.

Upon inspection of the video I see that there is no discharge of fuel out the rear overflow tubes - I suspect there might be a blockage in the lower fuel filter casing, this might keep the excess fuel from flowing out of the system on start up and through the throttle range.
