Hi Anders
Yeh , better to concentrate on your engine , theres not a lot of difference in flow between the GT6041 and the TV94 comps at high pressure ratios because of inlet choking with the GT6041 comp due to the 56 Trim vs the TV94's 48 Trim , with your comp diffuser setup you'll pickup a couple of percentage points of efficiency over the plain scroll of the GT60 bringing them into line as far as compression efficiency , and you'll have a bit more PR due to your more radial vanes .
Add on the efficiency gains from an NGV vs a scroll , thats a bit undersized in the GT60 , and theres not much to be gained by the GT60 turbo , ..................replacement parts will be a lot cheaper for the TV94 , ............Andrew was telling me the other day that the supplier has a special price on TV94 comp wheels at the moment of ~$50
Cheers John

Hi Stephan
Thats not a GT6041 turbo :-( ...............the comp scroll has an A/R of what looks like 0.50 and has a comp nut on the quill , the GT6041 has a 1.05 A/R housing and is a boreless wheel like the "yellow" turbo on the right hand side of the pic . ...........................you need to be careful about people claiming to have "GT60" turbos , they aren't GT6041 turbos , they are only half the size :-( ...................if you look around on the Net there are guys talking about GT60 turbos with only 60mm dia wheels , rather than the 141mm wheel in the GT6041 .
We need to have compressor wheel inducer sizes to be certain .
Cheers John

Sweet! What are the benefits of the chamber on top of the vapour tube inlets, is it just for holding the fuel jets in place or do you adjust the air flow through the vapour tubes with it?

Hi Anders
The flametube fits through a "sleeve??" in the outer can and the top of those 9 socket headed screws are against the inside of the outer can and is held there by the lower brass nut on the protrusion , fibre washer underneath for sealing .
The air for the 6 evaps enter via the 12 holes in the "round house " wall.
Fuel and gas are fed down the tubular mount via 2 X 3/16" dia metal brake line tubes to their respective manifolds , there are O'ring seals on the tubing underneath the "squared off" mount on top , theres also a "ferrel" that fits into the mount tube that slips over both supply tubes into which the O'rings seal ,its held in place by the chrome nut above the brass nut , it was a complex arrangement to figure out , but it appears to be OK .
Flametube is free to expand into the outer can mounting plate at the turb scroll end , I've added cooling holes at the outlet end to try an provide a cooling blanket over some of the scroll surface
Cheers John
