I´ve suggested to Olov that we rebuild the kick FT this summer and fit the spark plug the Wallis Way, we have had serious problems getting it to ignite so it should really be an improvement.

Hi Anders
Yeh , an engine thats hard to ignite is a worry , my bike was bad as its plug was some distance from the gas injection point , whereas the kart was good , its plug was near an evaporator outlet
Drilled the 9mm dia hole in the FT wall for the spark plug electrode to protrude through this morning , fitted a plug and hooked up spark and propane , successful ignition of the propane ..........LOL, and that was without any airflow , just the jet of propane going into the evap and forcing its way around the bends and out to the plug :-) ....................must get another "testing" cylinder of propane , this one has very little pressure left in it , it was barely enough to get a decent flame when testing the fuel/gas manifolds .
Starting on the lube system now , will use my test stand oilpump , and weld up an oil tank to fit in under the turbo .
Cheers John

Hi John, the kart is looking good, how about making up some side fuel tanks like George has made for his JFS kart see pics. LOL maybe i should put the T 30 engine on a kart chassis and line you up on a drag strip ;D Cheers, Mark.. Attachments:

Hi Mark
LOL, you'd get strangled in all those cables , what a complicated machine :-)
The GT6041 will be a minimalistic as possible , its a drag kart , 5 minute run times .
