No oil cooler , with limited fuel on board , run times will be only a few minutes at a time

i understand, myself will not use any cooler either since i plan to use two stainless oil tanks of each 6,5 liters volume making a total volume to 13 liters but effectively i will have around 10 liters of oil i think that will be enough oil for the TV61 turbo that i have.

Hi stoffe64,
You may want to consider using some form of oil cooling if you are running longer than John's operating times, as I remember very well running his first proof of concept bike (Frank) for about 10 minutes and the oil was getting very hot as the thermal load threshhold was crossed...started to emit quite a bit of smoke from the breather..but still loads of fun :-)) I think from memory John has 17 litres in the bottom tank on Frank??

Dash showing gauges and switches , right hand side has blue toggle switch for oil pump with the large "silvery" g/g for oil pressure , orange toggle is fuel pump for flametube with fuel pressure g/g beside switch . Left side of dash has P2 g/g (large silvery g/g) and A/B red toggle switch with A/B fuel pressure gauge besides switch . 9 litre/2 gallon fuel tank has dedicated pickups for each fuel pump , a breather tube and the dump from fuel control plumbed back thru a fitting in the filler cap . Sweet! Not much left to do before it is ready for some heat then. The sign was a very nice gift, must have taken a while to make.

Hi Anders
Chris made it using his CNC gear , has a mirror image on the other side , ...... its much appreciated :-)
The kart should have a few more bits on by the end of the week as I'm off on a shopping trip tomorrow for the last few bits .
Also redid the numbers for the engine and it looks like I might be able to squeeze another 10% flow out of her , getting it up over 2.75 lbs/sec with possibly ~155 lbs of thrust without A/B
Cheers John
