Hi John, Thanks, the only thing i don't like is the shitty welds i done on the lid but a coat of high temp paint will fix that Cheers, Mark.

I haven't done much work on the furnace at the moment or any work on turbine projects. I panted the base and welded on some castor wheels. I have been busy selling items and buying items for the workshop, i sold the chinese lathe and purchase this japanese precision Okuma LP lathe. She weighs in at 2 tons heavy duty just how i like it Some specifications here for the lathe. 360mm swing over bed, 400mm swing over gap 600mm between centers 5HP 3 phase motor coolant pump 33mm spindle bore A1-5 spindle nose Variable speed with Kopp Variator, approx 45-2500 rpm MT3 tailstock taper So i will be working on this lathe for a while to get it running on a VFD and a good clean ect, ect . Cheers, Mark.

Hi Mark
OH !!!!..................I think you might need your electric engineer mate to look at that mess ...................LOL, my old lathe has a flex from the electric motor to the power point on the wall for its sum total of electrics :-)
Cheers John

Hi John, Yeah i sent some pics to Andre. I think those 4 are interlock switchs or motor starters forward and reverse, oil pump, coolant pump. And there are overload relays and transformers. Looks like the owner place this 240 volt transformer next to the oil pump has the standard 240v plug this is for the work light. Once the manual arrives i will have a better understanding of the electrics.
Cheers, Mark.
