Hi guys,
I have a TT-10 APU that Im planning to use as start assist to my Viper 601 project featured elsewhere on this forum.
Problem!... I have just discovered over the weekend that the TT-10 package I purchased a few months ago is missing a vital piece of electronics that being the GECM (generator electronic control module) and it's attachment loom.
Can anyone help me source this unit either from forum members spares or suggestions where I might find one? Willing to pay for it not looking for freebees...well unless offered

If you have some plans we could build something. I work with PLC's. I have written gas turbine control software. what was the electronic module supposed to do? Fuel control? Emergency shutdown? overspeed?

Thanks for your offer but I was fortunate enough to find an original GECM that turned out to be serviceable...so all good:) the module controls the generator voltage/current output and senses out of limit conditions that trigger engine shutdown in certain circumstances (over-temp/over-voltage ect)

Hi Rene, glad you have this sorted but if you need bits for the TT10 you may want to contact Bruce at Avon Aero. www.avonaero.com/contact.html I bought a going tt10 a few years back from him and at the time he had a lot of them some going, some not. Cheers Ian... |

Hi Ian,
Thanks for the contact re spares however I contacted Bruce at Avon Aero back in May and he advised all their TT-10 stuff was gone.
