Hi all, first post so I’ll keep this simple. I’m a tool maker who has recently changed jobs. I now work in a Cnc jobbing shop and have access to up to 5 axis mills and lathes. My question is are there any parts needed by the turbine building community that I could do a batch run and maybe make a bit of an income on the side of my day job? We send a lot of stuff out for hardening so turbine shafts could be in with them but sadly no cylindrical grinder, but if there is interest I’m sure I can find a shop that will do one offs for some beers. Before anyone asks, yes I’ll do one offs but the turnaround will be up to two weeks if you want it cheap as I have to fit it in after hours when the machines are not running over night. When I was writing this I realized that my brother works at a laser cutting shop and i get family discount. Sadly I’m based in New Zealand (near Australia) so add posting time as well. Any ideas or thoughts welcome.

Feel free to message me your contact info. I have a project I'm working on and it would be nice to have a machinist who has an understanding of what I am trying to do.
Thanks, Grant
