that's an interesting one!
A friend of mine has a couple of those Sachs engines, one was from a snowmobile and the other was set up for an ultralite aircraft I think.

Yep, They were also use in lawn mowers, chain saws,boats,gen sets,water pumps,motorcycles and a single rotary engine made for some small cars back in the mid 1950s.

Hi John, Yeah a cute engine LOL i usually like big and heavy duty stuff No dramas starting the engine as the seller did a test run before i purchase it. This is a 4 stroke engine and it needs a 2 stroke fuel mix to lubricate the apex seals and bearings. Cheers, Mark.
