Thats a 4th stage wheel, probably a bit too big for your needs , you maybe need something between a 2nd and a 3rd stage wheel for your sized engine , but as I've said before , you need to know whats coming out of your gas producer before making a decision on freepower wheel size , an oversized wheel can be accommodated but an undersized one will only cause grief or loss of power if you need to dump some of your gases.

Hi Aaron
Yep , please don't be too hasty in purchasing a freepower , without good "numbers" from the gas producer its impossible to design the freepower stage , and if its not done correctly you either end up with a lowly powered engine or a dead one , both of which aren't acceptable especially when it can be done properly , theres a lot of work involved in the freepower stage construction for both a good stage or a bad one, it might as well be a good one :-)
Cheers John

Aaron, there are no stupid questions on this site. We are all learning. I have been working on gas turbines and rotating machinery since 1968 and I still am learning something new every day. Study Euler's turbine equation for insight.
Thanks, Ron

Hi Aaron As Ron said , there ain't no stupid questions , just a learning process. I had my mate Chris visit me this week with the FM-1 engine jetandturbineowners.proboards.com/thread/576/fat-lady-fm-1 , Chris has been doing some necessary internal "updates" to the engine and it was interesting to see and compare what I made a decade ago with my todays efforts, so don't feel you need to know everything so as not to ask "stupid" questions , theres lotsa things to learn and we never get to the end of them . Reading the Freepower stuff here jetandturbineowners.proboards.com/thread/680/diy-turbines?page=1 will give you some idea of whats required , I tried to keep it simple , but its not a simple subject unfortunately ...................heh heh , keep as questions , I'll keep answering them :-) Cheers John
