Hi Ben
Its both a time and postage cost , it cost more for postage than the belt , cheaper/quicker if I can purchase something here in Oz
Cheers John

Hi Mark Yep , took my time and the slots look OK , had to make some new bits for the cutoff saw jig , but once made , the job was done in half an hour Now for the vanes, gotta think on this a bit Cheers John

Hi Mark
Just checked the dimensions I need and my strip of Inco 600 isn't wide enough at ~28 mm , it was OK for the 19mm TV94 wheel's tip height but with the wider 22mm inducer on the TF15 I need 30-31 mm to allow enough projection through the NGV wall to get a decent weld .
I might need you to pay a visit to your supplier for a meter of 30 X 3 mm
Cheers John

Hi Guys A few pics of the fuel manifold . Decided to go with only 9 injectors rather than the 18 I originally considered after talking to Andy about his build , went for 19G 1.1mm OD syringe needles with bent tips to provide the required fan spray , the reduced number will require higher fuel pressures with hopefully enough turndown for idle conditions , testing has produced a fan spray at ~120ml/min/injector , 1080 ml/min total for all 9 injectors , the largish bores will mean less chance of blockages and the 1.1 mm OD means a less fragile injector Cheers John

Hi John, I like this set up So you need higher fuel pressures I may have a pump for that purpose let me have a look in my parts inventory. Cheers, Mark.

John,
Are the arrows indicating which direction the fan spray is going?

Hi Joe
Yep , I want to maintain a swirl within the flametube that will hopefully facilitate entry angle into the NGV , there'll be some residual swirl exiting the comp diffuser that will enter the outer wall holes to add to the injection swirl, it won't be a strong swirl .
Cheers John

Hi Mark
Hopefully the current EFI pump will do the job , I guess it'll be a case of trial and error to see what happens , the fuel pressures with the 12/118 were rather modest at ~60 psi max ( 40 psi P2 and only 20 psi pressure drop across the injector/s ), it should be capable of twice that .
Cheers John

Hi John, OK i have a couple of pumps, this one in the photos maybe to much for what you need my guess ~2000 psi. I was using this pump for the T30 project, had it running of the IC engine at idle speed it shot fuel right across the floor. The other gear pump is 2.75 gph @ 60psi @ 10 vdc or 3.00 gph @ 90psi @ 14 vdc I use this pump for the JFS test run www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmDDDzl3wGcCheers, Mark.

Hi Mark
Man , thats one heavy duty setup :-)
LOL....maybe just a bit of overkill for my needs , I'll try and stick with the EFI pump if I can , its all rigged up on the test stand and should at the very least get me fired up and supplying enough fuel for those initial tests .
Ah , your JFS .............that was a long time ago , .......did the guy who bought it off you ever get it running and powering something ??
I've spent the arvo trying to machine that Inco , got 3 vanes made , but having tooling problems , it likes a sharp tool , but they soon blunt , a tungsten tip last OK but its tearing the chunks out and distorting the sharp end of the taper , I'll try something else tomorrow , gotta be able to speed up the process .
Cheers John
