Hello every one, So time I share with you ,something I have been working on. But first I want to say a very big thank you to John for his help once again, he knew I was not going to be happy not building something, and gave me the reason to start this build. Thank You So the engine, the comp wheel has 130 induser a Mitsubishi TF15 (130 / 180) 7+7 rated for 70 PSI, see link www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193294167401The same turbine wheel as John has used on the manned flight engine Will use the same injectors as in my last engine, the same as John is using in his build, "RaketJector" if these keep proving to work as well as they did in my last engine, Its I think a real step forward for our scale of engines Some Cad images for you Parts will start being CNC'd soon, but i have made a start on the oil and system the fuel tank, most of the electrics are sorted and boxed and ready for install on the chassis, you can see a little more in this video The stainless for the can has been cut and being rolled and welded this week, which is 3mm thick, perhaps a little over kill, but want to keep all that presure inside I will keep you all updated as things happen, need to get the chassis next to extend it, and hope that the CNC parts start soon All the best Andy M

Hello every one I had hoped to have a little more of an update for you all before now, some of the reason for this is my fault, i got distracted with a TV progamme project which had unreal expectations from day one, guess the pull of the mention of the talent i would be working with turned my head a little. In the end i said "thanks but no thanks, you dont have the time to do what you want".It was mentioned they may come back next year, but experience tells me working with TV companys is hard work.... but still would be nice to work on the project I have gotten the outer can rolled and welded with holes in 3mm stainless, think 3 mm was better with 70 psi boost But other than that things are a little slow... had a few computer issues that have not helped, one external HD die, with years of work and drawing on it.... then shortly after that my PC died.... at this i did panic a bit... but then I remembered fusion 360 has every thing saved on the cloud So where are we at. the CNC work on the engine will start in the new year.... Terry hopes to have main engine parts done for March. Then the few extra bits for the afterburner done May... The chassis is sorted and extra tube on its way the lengthen the chassis. I have had to think long and hard about which chassis, whether or not to go with a Kart chassis agian, or after being offered a half scale drag chassis complete... for a very good price.... but the record is set in a kart chassis so that what it will be... There are still a few bits to sort... I am watching John's progress.... i had planned to use one 044 pump, now John is looking at two on the fuel system..... need to see how that goes.... i might have to build something with a hydraulic pump and big RC pump, a little like I have for the oil system I am aiming for track outing Santa pod .... end of 2022 Any how..... happy holidays..... am hoping for all of us a better 2022..... keep safe and well all of you

Hello Every one I hope you are a well, and life is getting back to some kind of normal So as for the new engine It is still happening, things are just taking a little longer than expected. My CNC guy is up to his eyes in work, and as my things get done in spare time. Not having any spare time..... things .... well.... all drawings are done A few little bits have been worked on, but a lathe I planned on using again, is out of action, so having to wait for another friend to do the work, or let me do it.... but its racing season... so he's working on bike's etc Its also been good to see Johns engine working.... as I am using the same turbine wheel So am hoping perhaps 2023.... perhaps I have been sortring a few bits, improved the ignition... got it firing a little faster... The kart chassis is sorted, but not with me yet.... just dont have the space.... well do, but with bits hanging arround..... dont want the kart here till ready to fit it out... Because of some rule changes, that may or may not effect me.... and people I know that run full size rigs have mentioned the changes to me and think theres a good chance i will be asked to , going to assume they will, and put in place the method and systems in I need. As so many places are becoming more safety concerned, better to put the changes in place now, so if and when the time comes. I did mention that as I dont consider my engine in the same league as theres... guess time will tell... I do know from talking to the safty guy that over see two tracks, he favours manual control systems Hope to have more to share soon
