Hello every one trying to get as much done, so once the cnc work is finished... I will have all i need so thanks to Steve my friend with the skills, he built the afterburner After seeing John picture, I think static test will be kept short, and only to check it lights..... think we are asking a lot of stainless.... so will only run at full afterburner... once moving

Looks like a nice floating ferrule for the igniter, to allow the thermal expansion of the liner without shear loading the igniter.
Seems like an odd placement though, as a general benefit of a floating ferrule is that you can control the leakage of "cold" air near the igniter tip, which could quench the ignition kernel and cause starting problems. But, it sits between two liner holes that may push "cold" air into the ignition region.

Hello Every One
I am sorry its been some time since I posted.
Its been a busy few weeks..... I brought a van, got real good deal on it, they helped me out letting me pay over a few weeks, if had a few issues, and no MOT. So yes I took a bit of a chance on it. But after some work, it passed its MOT
Has bed , heater, lights and roof fan installed now.... electrics, both 12 and 240 volt and 2.5 kva generator on the way.... Its not plush..... but will keep us warm and dry at the track
On another note , work has started..... hoping to make rapid progress
