Hello every one,
Things are one step closer, spent the last week at my friends CNC shop.... we or mainly he has made the top part of the NGV section
Its not as easy as you might think.... first you have to check every thing, then the G code, then put the tooling in the machine, even ordering tools in the do the 2mm slot, which there are 20 of in 7mm thick 316 stainless.
Then once all is loaded and ready to start cutting..... the first run.....you whatch every operation.... even run a dummy pass at 100mm clearance a way from the work peice.
The results though are worth the time, and two parts finished, one ready for the first engine.... the other ready for, well what comes next..... but yes some thing with two of these engines in could be fun
The parts are push fit, with a little help may be from an oven and some dry ice.... thinking is ? once together in the engine, getting hot together.... its hope they will sit together nice..... what does every on think.... may be a few tacks as well as, not yet pushed together in the picture
On another project, I will need to move the kart etc, to events, so been working on a van/camper ish....
I shold be posting a video soon of the van and the part being machined
Big thank you goes to both my friends called Steven

Perhaps a little bigger...... stack both engines together..... would be an interesting ride
We got op1 done on two of these today, the exhaust
