I use to do a bit of metal spinning on the lathe when i was fitter and turner, made up a heavy duty bracket to hold a solid steel wheel clamp onto the tool post.

Ok you mean " metal spinning" I once tried that many many years ago for a small piece. Lots of trouble for just one piece since you must first turn a form and then make some sort of attachment to fit your lathe. And then only to learn that not all alloys are created equal. Most need annealing, sometimes more than once while you re spinning. Most likely your few first attempts will end up with cracks.
I would start to explore the web trying to find what I need. You'll find yourself amazed at all the available shapes and sizes :Spheres , half spheres ,domes, ogive, bell mouth etc Many available in different material from aluminum to stainless.
Try Banggood Ali express and Alibaba..
Of course some adaptive modification might be required but I think it saves a lot of tie work and money.

SANTA CAME EARLY
Thank you John,
Am sure John will explain the numbers..... They scare me if I am honest..... but will have fun with the afterberner for a few years, then change to shaft power

Hi Guys
~400 SHP at 30,000 rpm :-)
The flow areas of the ~9 inch dia NGV and wheel are a tad tight when I calculated the numbers using the theoretical pressure/temp output of the gas producer , but will need to wait until we have the actual jetpipe numbers from the running engine to decide on what to do , it might just need a small bypass jet nozzle of ~30-40 mm dia so that the couple of butterfly valves used during spoolup can be closed completely during a run .
The turb wheel is normally run at considerably more rpm of ~40,000 , so theres potentially more gearing/horsepower to be had, it would also make the velocity triangles for the turb wheel look a bit better .
LOL.......but I think even a half throttle run will be more than exciting enough ;-)
Cheers John

Beautiful bits being made Andy! Thank you.... can not take much credit.... if any for the out come.... Ihave sat at the side of the machine for every part... had do do few tweaks on the fly to keep things fitting up nice.... But so nice to see you parts come to life, that the designs have worked always rewarding.... Should be running soon, thats when the fun starts But yours is going to be so wonderful....
