Hi all, due to the shitty weather, I started already a new project. Chimney Propulsion System, hopefully finished in 2022😉 Turbine wheel, I dont know the manufacturer. Comp wheel, Holset HX 60. Not much information at the time, but already some parts done on the new "old" lathe. Andy ![]() |

Your compressor nut (or nut cover) is beautiful. How do you “torque it”?

Hi Scott,
the spinner nut will get 1 flange each side for a 19 mm wrench.

Hi, after much mishaps, i finally found a way to mill the diffuser in the lathe. My stand drill has only 2200 rpm, so the drill bit got always stuck. I machined a bracket for a wood drill. Its adjustable from 6000-11000 rpm. Thats like cutting butter😉 It still took 1 1/2 days, to this point. The last work are the 14 entrys to the housing. One is already done. After, some sanding and some cleaning. Weekend i want to start the ngv👍 Andy     |

Nice work :-)
Theres always a "way around it" , LOL.........just most times it takes me longer to think of it than doing the job :-(
You'll have this engine finished before I can get mine back together .

Hi, Chimney Propulsion System 2022 comes slowly together. Shaft rotates now without problems. I hope the clearances are OK. The outer housing has to cut to length, after the ngv fits. Andy        |
