Another possibility is that it not part of the government inventory anymore after they decommissioned the aircraft is was used on.

I could be interested.. What does the red tag say? A red tag is usually attached to a defective part..
Can you estimate the turbine or compressor wheel diameter ?

About 9 inches for the wheel itself or for its housing. But dont rack your brain on it .. Thanks !

I'd say a little over 9" for the housing, so the wheel itself would be smaller. I have no idea how to check the actual size, but I am open to suggestions.

Take the worst looking one and disassemble it so you know how to take apart the rest without excessive damage/know how to put it back together lol

The "worst" looking one looks only slightly less new than the other. But really, it would be a HECK of a learning experience. I'd have to make a youtube video. "Man Destroys Fighter Jet ACM".

That red tag motion " Oil wicks" Anyone knows about those ? Sounds like the oil impregnated flet found on old electric motors. I would have expected a more complex lube system for a wheel spinning that fast in such a costly unit.

Always better to KISS haha

Hi Richard
There were/are turbochargers made with oil wicks , Aerochargers ??
Ball bearings don't need much lubrication .
Cheers John

I'm going to try to sell them online as whole units. I am unsure what to start them off at. I know they are still in use by the military, and are quite expensive, but I know that they don't have the same value on the private market.
