Hi all, It's been a bit quite on this site so i thought i start a new topic. With all the other projects i have on the go this one i think will work out, this is the second JFS i have which is missing some bits and Pisces one of them is the straight splined shaft which would cost $400 + USD and some parts for the fuel pump as well. So i had a good chat with John W and we thought why can't we run the turbine with external oil and fuel pumps, as you can see in these pics it looks like it will run. I have a jacobs ladder for ignition 300 PSI 24 volt solenoid vale for air impingement start, two motor speed controllers for oil pump and fuel pump. I just done a test on the oil pump which is working very well just need to set up a high pressure air line and some electrical work and fingers cross that i don't fire it. Cheers, Mark Attachments:

Now at 30 PSI 1 liter ~ 48 secs. Had no leaks from the o rings looking good, I had a chat to Dino from turbokart.com he said he ran oil pressure at 25 PSI. Also i found out the JFS will burn ~ 1 liter of flue in ~ 1 minute at full power. Attachments:

Hi John, yep she's moving along nicely. I'll hold back on the oil cooler for the moment. Now there a burner drain valve that admits left over fuel when the engine is shut down so i will need to manually open that vale when i shut it down.
Cheers, Mark..

Hi all, I have finish all the wring on the JFS and set up the air impingement system works perfectly Using 2,000 PSI tank pressure got her spinning up to around 26,000 RPM so should be good to light off. Just need to work on the fuel system. Cheers, Mark Attachments:

Hi John, Thanks, here is another video for your guys to look at. Just a walk around and test start on air. youtu.be/_rs-vV-NlZg Cheers, Mark BTW i am using 20,000 KPA tank pressure which is a bit under 3,000 PSI. I had a girl look
