Hi I see you want to use a JFS free power unit, i wanted to do the same set up but it fell though. But i can help you out on the parts that you will need to hook up the JFS. I had contact with a guy in the states he set his up with a turbojet, he was kind enough to send me cad drawings for the cone and flange plate these are the parts you will need for a JFS hook up. Cheers, Mark Attachments:

Hi Smithy, Awesome work mate I think you might get a lot of people interested in your set up and how you machine up that bendix clutch. I was going to scale up one two i got types of bendix clutches see pics the one on the right has a spring inside it but other than that they are basically the same. I may not use it for the t30 having seconds thoughts on it. I'll stick with the leaf blower for now. Cheers, Mark Attachments:

Hi Smithy, Ok so the 1580kv has more torque than the 2650kv motor, but i think it will be enough power to get the T 30 up and runing as it's not as big as the GT60 turbo. I am looking forward to a successful start up - Cheers, Mark.

Hi John, yep she's moving along nicely. I'll hold back on the oil cooler for the moment. Now there a burner drain valve that admits left over fuel when the engine is shut down so i will need to manually open that vale when i shut it down.
Cheers, Mark..

Hi Smithy, I have a small starter Bendix and was thinking of scaling up for my T 30 turbojet project, i have a castle 2650KV brushless motor and yes they have some serious torque. I sent it to John to try on his 10/98 but wasn't powerful enough but it might do the job for the T 30. I got my fingers crossed for you as i hope it will work out, looks like you spent many hours on that thing very nice job Cheers, Mark...

Now at 30 PSI 1 liter ~ 48 secs. Had no leaks from the o rings looking good, I had a chat to Dino from turbokart.com he said he ran oil pressure at 25 PSI. Also i found out the JFS will burn ~ 1 liter of flue in ~ 1 minute at full power. Attachments:

Hi all, It's been a bit quite on this site so i thought i start a new topic. With all the other projects i have on the go this one i think will work out, this is the second JFS i have which is missing some bits and Pisces one of them is the straight splined shaft which would cost $400 + USD and some parts for the fuel pump as well. So i had a good chat with John W and we thought why can't we run the turbine with external oil and fuel pumps, as you can see in these pics it looks like it will run. I have a jacobs ladder for ignition 300 PSI 24 volt solenoid vale for air impingement start, two motor speed controllers for oil pump and fuel pump. I just done a test on the oil pump which is working very well just need to set up a high pressure air line and some electrical work and fingers cross that i don't fire it. Cheers, Mark Attachments:
