Bugger, one needs to be a Yahoo member to view the pics. Mind if I stretch our friendship a bit further and ask for you to upload the pics here?

Just back from Andrews spent the day watching him replacing half the wires in B1. He says while he is waiting for the fuel pump he may as well replace the aeroplane wires that he used because he says there not doing all that well in a motorcycle. He says aeroplane use is different. He says the wires are fraying and that it may cause a problem down the track. I helped him by holding circuit testers while he was testing the pumps circuit.

Hi Vanessa
LOL, I hope there wasn't any "magic smoke" from the wires :-)
He'll track down the problem

Hi John No he is just replacing all the ones that look like they are coming apart or fraying. He says the stuff is better in hot places and less able to burn if there is a small fire than normal wire, but it doesn't like lots of playing with or stuff being done around it. He says in an aeroplane it mostly isn't moved or touched. He says he hates electrical things because it's not his thing and he says he has to learn things that he isn't interested in. I don't think there was any other problem but there was lots of smoke coming from his ears and lots of swearing Hehe

Hi John, Andrew finished your castings today so he is going to send them up as soon as he can get a moment. He says they came out ok but he isn't happy with the smoothness of them and he will refinish the patterns when he gets a moment. He is such a perfectionist LOL I showed him the pictures you put up and he remembers doing some of them and that he had a hard time redoing the gears on his machines. He says you two have done a lot of parts for the project so far. He says he may change the controller for B2 because the one he did for B1 might not be able to do all of the things that the new bike will need to have? I'll ask him if he has any photos that I haven't got so I can put them up. Vanessa

Hi Vanessa
Castings look good from here, up to the usual "more than adequate" level required .
I'll be looking forward to cutting metal sometime next week :-)
Yeh , we've made a lotta bits .
