Hi guys, more updates on the T 30 project. I got the engine kart welded up and place the engine in the kart so i can work out where to put the engine mounts, also tried out the new lathe machine the ss flange, but i need to get the reverse jaws to machine out the hole for the turbine. Good tools make for easy work, lucky bastard :-)
Thats a lump of a turbo housing , how about adding something for scale so others know how big she really is , LOL, I've "fondled" the rotor so have an appreciation of her appeal ;-)

That's no right on soooo many levels.
Measuring her hole for comparason and the feeling her flat spots. Let's keep it clean, REAL cutting tools can tear the hole bigger.
Is that the burner can in the foreground on the first picture?

Hi John, wait to i get a mill ;D OK i got the other T 30 and the rotomaster turbo out and took some pics, as you guys can see the T 30 is very large compared to the rotomaster which in it's self is big in size maybe about the same size as a VT, ST turbocharger?  . I also got the weight for the turbos , Rotomaster 20 KGS , T 30 47 KGS. Cheers, Mark. Attachments:
