Thanks John, Thinking if we have the free power box raise up to the seat height as well we could use chain and sprockets to change the drive ratios??
Cheers, Mark.

Hi John, OK played around with gearbox set up today as you can see i rise the box to what i think will be the correct height Will leave that set up for now until Andrew comes over and we can do some more measuring and checking before we start to cut the frame. Cheers, Mark.

Hi Mark,
Cool project, just wondering what size wheels you will be using? If they are the Commodore type, do you think with the FPT & gas generator raised to fit the chain that the seat will be a bit too high?
Also something I had to look at when I mounted my diff upside down is that they are designed to have the pinion in the bottom ie. in the oil bath, when you invert it the pinion runs in the air and so likely seize.
I have put an electric pump on it to circulate from the bottom to the pinion.
Another option may be to flip the diff over, that is pointing the rear then have an extended shaft from the spline output shaft on the FPT so that the chains will be at the rear and so a bit easier to get at to change ratios as well as leaving the diff with the pinion in the oil bath while having it go the right direction.
Just a though....
Cheers Ian...

G'day Ian, Thanks mate, for the wheels may use 17 inch rims and with tyres will come to 24 inch diameter. As for the seat height it will be fine it look high in the pics that's because of the jig. I'm going for this type of trike set up in these pics. The FTP has a small out put shaft on top so can hook up a gear pump to circulate oil in the diff. Know that's a good option to try will flip the diff over and see how that looks. I'll get back to you tomorrow on that one Cheers, Mark.
