All, note the use of wooden blocks to support the parts. The first thing a farmer/mechanic learns is that a pile of wooden blocks is essential to work on machinery of any kind. Thanks, Ron That is so true, when we live on our small farm my father always used wooden blocks for farming projects

Got the diff welded up, the tubes are a bit distorted from welding. The 30mm bar is stiff to rotate, there will be more welding done on the diff as i need perches welded on as well and i would like to grind the welds down flat and re weld just to make sure the tube is sealed.

Yeah the free power unit is from the 502 Boeing which was use for minesweeper power generation and propulsion, aircraft compressed-air starters, boost power for military tanks and power for antisubmarine drone helicopters. It looks big because of the exhaust shroud, he is a pic of the other one i have this one has no cast bosses on the side of the gearbox.

Interesting, I have to say it looks small and neat without the cowl. I think a very nice and well engineered option for those of us (myself included) who wouldn’t ever consider building a free power from scratch. Is the aim to target any particular top speed with the trike?
Cheers, Scott

Cheers, Scott Yeah they are a nice unit and very simple, there is one for sale right now $500 has the NGV, exhaust cowl and a air compressor unit bolted on. No target for speed output, need to find a good stretch of road to find out.
