hello Ernie! I didnt mean to put you down by saying that it gets more expensive, everything is relative here in life, i understand that 5000$ for a viper is qite OK cost and well spent money, what i meant was that for me as a DIYer the costs of a real aircraft turbojet engine and its spare parts are qite severe costs BUT then again......you have PLENTY more thrust, power,fire,smoke and show.....nothing beat that ofcourse. hell....yes i want to own a small real aircraft turbojet engine myself but right now i want to row my small boat to harbour..in other words....finish that TV61 project that i have standing. then maybe...one day in the future if and when i get lucky enough to get my fingers on a real turbojet engine

john...what i meant by saying that it would take off was simply that that engine looks like an aircraft turbine engine.....and aircrafts fly as you know ;D

I always forget to introduce myself! my name is stephan höglund,i am 47 years now,married with my lovely Anna from lithuania, we have 2 daughters, Aina which is 4 years and Alice which is 2 years old. i work in the swedish armed forces as a mechanic. my interests are ofcourse my family AND a huge interest to our hobby, turbine engines and especially the turbojet engine....thats why i started with that garrett TV61 turbo a couple of years back.....im still not finished with it but one day it will make that nice compressor noise

ok, too bad that i have bad experience with dealing with Bruce,it sorta costed me alot of money for no reason, sorry but i avoid dealing with bruce after that.if you want to know why i can private message you/ stephan
