well!
i have been interested since 2002 about,i became a member of the DIY group in yahoo and since then i have had a couple of turbos in my posession, thefirst one was a brand new one,a holset hx60 but that one i had to sell unfortunately due to financial problems, then i got an old holset from an marine engine, that one i discovered that its turbine was cracked all over the place...then finally i got the opportunity to buy a brand new mack turbo from a friend from the yahoo group...the turbo is a garrett TV61...well that project has been around now for quite some time and it is STILL in the planning stages, JOHN WALLIS we have even discussed its possibility to be able to run as a turbojet due to the fact that it has an oversized turbine, but that was maybe 2 years back!!,and i havent started to build it yet!!!! i feel yellous of you guys here, JOHN WALLIS and Anders Johansson, how fast you put stuff together,im impressed and i feel discomfort and i feel i way behind...i would just be soo happy to finish my project so i can hear that TV61 spool up and to run on its own ....i lift my hat for you technical geniouses out there who build them sooo darn fast. best regards/stephan

hello everyone! for us swedish AND others too ofcourse, another tip for oil pump is the SAAB99 77-82 the classic SAAB 99 2 liters engine, that engine had a combined pump-filter unit mounted to the side of the engine. best regards/stephan

as i remembered about that particular pump is that it was originally designed to pump diesel fuel OR water at a flowrate of around 12-14 liters per minute, with oil i think it will be less than that, perhsps you can use two pumps to increase the flow Anders? best regards/stephan

hello everyone!
i have these compressed airbottles from fire extinguishers which i want to use as the base for a small steam rocket engine, they are rated for 200 bar air pressure so they are very strong,i wonder if anyone in here have any drawings of the exhaust nozzle for best performance, any help appreciated! best regards/stephan

hello anders! yes,you misunderstand me i think, my question was how good that biltema pump is fubctioning as an oil scavenge pump, because the oil is thicker than diesel fuel which it was designed for, thats why i was interested to know how well it is as a scavenge pump. but actually i know one guy which modifies bosch EFI pumps to use as pressure lube pump,he has run a holset truck turbo turbojet engine for over hundred hours by now,it functions perfectly! but i will only use the EFI pumps for my vapourizer fuel system. best regards/stephan

hello Anders! i know that that particular scavenge pump is originally used for marine application AND for intermittent duty only and i also know that its capacity are way too low to use as a lube pressure pump, for that i have another pump and i was planning to use a bosch EFI pump for fuelpump,i was only interested how wel it is for oil

hello Anders! happy new year to you and everyone in here! how well is that Biltema pump doing in pumping oil?i have exactly the same pump for my project turbine as a fuel delivery pump and according to specs it is designed to pump diesel fuel OR water BUT if it functions to pump oil i might get another one as well for oil pumping! best regards/stephan
