Hi, I'm new to the forum. I've been involved with gas turbines over a number of years with the Royal Navy and more recently Industrial turbines. I have an on going project re-building a Rover 1S90 APU and hoping to reach out to anyone who might have spare parts or an engine for sale. Thanks

Hi Ron,
Ask Harry at harry@jetenginetrader.co.uk. He bought all the Mk105/2S150 spares and there may be some parts commonality or have you tried either of the Bennet Bros?
Cheers,
Ian

Hi
You might have more info on the dedicated RC turbine Sites, very few of us on this Site use FADECs .

Hey,
Just joined up, was pointed in this direction today after meeting a bloke with RC Jet dragster, as well as a mental go kart that is powered by a turbo large enough to inhale small children.
I recently finished my first gas turbine build using a T04 turbo, keen to learn more.
Cheers, Marc.

Hi John,
Yeah not wrong about Brett, was happy enough to have a chat with me and pointed out a couple of things to help improve on my current setup.
I can see this snowballing from a project that was done just to tick a box, and say "yup, done that", to a possibly expensive hobby.
Cheers, Marc.

I second that, 14 years ago I made a half assed attempt of building a jet engine from a worn out turbocharger and a handful of engine builds later I still feel like I am only scratching the surface of gas turbine building. Cheers! /Anders

Hi Marc
LOL......It needn't be too expensive , I recon I've probably spent an average of ~$20/week on it over the years, but it is a hobby thats open ended as we never learn everything that needs learning ............hence we never get bored with it .
Cheers John

Don't know about that, you guys must have some great mates rates to use some of those HUGE frame turbos.

Hi Marc
Its just a case of spending the time to find a good source for bits at the right price , plus it takes me a year to make an engine , so the cost is spread out over a long time frame.
Cheers John

Hi guys (And girls ;-)
I'm Faads, also known as "Luc" in Pulsejets.com, the publisher of the longest thread there was about the Gluhareff 130R power failure. As I moved on to work with turbines now, and somehow "Strugleling" with these beasts sometimes because I have a tendency to try "Not to walk known paths", my budy Racket recommend I join this forum so he will still have hairs left on his head after I'm done trying to change Heinstein's physics ... LOL
So, I hope I will contribute other then just "Suck your brains dry" of all your knowledge ... LOL ... And if any of you guys need assistance with anything related to pulsejets, and more specially how to FINALLY have your pressurejet deliver full thrust, just give me a call ... ;-)
Cheers Luc (Racket will recognize this one ... LOLL ;-)
