Hi everyone, so we have a little progress, the chassis is in the shed, a little length added and parts kind of offered up in place... Just trying to get an ideal how things will fit in. Talking of fitting, having the chassis in the shed, don't leave much room for anything else. I did kind of have a plan to be up and running by April, but perhaps after looking at what needs doing early May mite be more realistic All The Best Andy

Hi Andy
Coming together nicely :-)
That extra length of wheelbase will come in handy at the speed she'll be doing .
Cheers John

I could get away with extending it less, but like you say the extra length will help with speed, I was also think about down the line, when perhaps we go shaft power it would give me space to fit every thing in ? Been a lot of looking, not doing though over the last day or so :-) but think i have it all clear in my head now. Brake caliper position was making problem, but that worked it self out after nap, to reflect Chat soon All The Best Andy

Found you Andy. I'm gonna go to first page to see how it all started. Really good to look at this build. I'm new around, it will take me some time to find all the projects and read about.

Yep, welcome to the group So progress is slow.... I really don't want to rush things and it all looking botched together. The issue is...... extend the frame, trying to keep the extra weight that causes to a minimum. But because the chassis has been extended, and the increased flex it has caused ? ....... and perhaps look ok.... it taken some time, thinking... working out which tube section works... Could go with smaller tube section, but then have to add more to get things ridged.... Bigger section could just look to and be to heavy So what you think All The Best Andy
