The augmenters are welded on the front, clamps will hold them on the back. Clamps aren't on there yet.

I'm almost done with the main engine so now I need to concentrate on fueling. I've never fueled anything close to this big so I need some help. Can anyone give me some advice on pumps and injectors? The ballpark fuel consumption is about 10 litres per minute.
One more thing to take into account is that I can't manually start it, it needs to be done from a distance so not only do I need to control fuel flow remotely (not wirelessly) but also starting air. I got the suggestion to use a couple of old empty propane tanks as extra air tanks and some sort of quick release to quickly dump air into the intakes. This has a disadvantage, namely that I can try starting only a couple of times.
I'm up for any other suggestions. Anders, what kind of fan are you (or the other team) using with the Argus scale engine?
Maybe use explosions to kickstart the engine?

They are using a large industrial centrifugal fan which they have built a speed controller for, it is powered by a 3-phase motor so it needs some juice to run.
A regular leaf blower should be up for the job I think, it should produce enough air flow even for an engine this size.
Perhaps you should try to start it with only one injector running so you won´t need to blow air through all three intakes at the same time? One injector flowing its full capacity might be a good idle system.

So start on one injector and when the engine is running, open the other 2?

You should be able to get compressed air at the welding supply where you get the high pressure large bottles from, granted you will probably get a few strange looks, but 250-300 cubic feet of air at 2000 or so PSI will go a long way...
But I would also try the leafblower in 1 first...

One possible problem with my idea might be that the burning fuel can blow out through the other two intakes, but I guess there is only one way to find out.

Bought 3 high capacity fuel nozzles a couple of days ago. They'll be here in under two weeks

2 weeks, 2 days, tomáto tomato it seems Can't believe they charged me 10 bucks just to ship these to me in an envelope. 3.9L/min @ 800kPa, ought to do the trick. Next up: a pump. Suggestions? *Edit* Anders, I remember you telling me about the pumps in that big valved engine that ran at speed-weekend, weren't those a bunch of smaller pumps?
