Thanks, OH wow, well first to get it running again.... Might be some service before that and get to know it and its behaviours.... Then maybe develop it to an afterburning engine.... How much thrust out of this one With afterburner? Cheers /stephan

The cooler using fuel is very common in The real aircraft world....that is what is most common i guess!

Or use a oil cooler,there are some neat small heat exchangers out there,such where you can Run fuel through it as cooling medium! Cool projekt Anders! Hmm, perhaps one of those coolers would work. They are really small so I might be able to fit one to the bike, thanks for the idea Stoffe! Maybe Brett Smith have such small heat exchangers from a rolls Royce Nimbus laying around somewhere? Or any other Nice aircraft engine?? Cheers /stephan

Ahh,isopropylnitrate!,very interesting and scary startfuel ,i have worked on such equipment used for starting of the Saab j35 draken,the fuel is containing oxygen, scary! Cheers /stephan

Could it have happened because of too big turbine housing?, to me it had this flapping noice, like flow disturbance... After a while the oil leaks by and then failure shortly after. Get another turbo and rebuild, a Nice engine you constructed there Cheers /stephan
