Hey Mark, My apologies for not getting the photos of the go kart to you, the weather has been horrendous here of late and I've been working out of the state longer than anticipated. I'm back in Sydney now and the weather is still ordinary at best....we're having near cyclone type conditions. Will get those photos for you hopefully this arvo after work.
Nice work on the mower mate, very neat and compact...unlike myself...I tend to put things at random or "where they fit"..! With the HP fuel lines, probably neater to go with custom bent hard lines.... but depending on the amount of "movement" in there, maybe some nice flexible stainless braided lines...I have a few on the go-kart for the supplementary fuel lines on the A/B pipe and hot streak etc. I don't think it's a good idea to have hard lines on items which tend to "grow" or move around whilst in use.
Hard lines can be used as long as allowance is made for them to slide or rotate...John designed and fitted a "sliding" hard line on the main A/B fuel feed on the go-kart...works a treat and allows for the A/B pipe growth & movement without stressing the line or connections.
Cheers, Smithy.

Hi Brett, No worries mate, Ah!! winter is coming. Bloody hell cyclone type conditions hope we don't get it down here. Thanks for the kind words on my build lol i just place the item where i think it should go and drill a hole and bolt it down Mmmm i don't think the neat and compact will last long still have to fit in fuel lines and wiring, yeah i could make up custom bent hard lines I'm not to good at it always make them to short or to long I suppose it will come down to my budget. Cheers, Mark.

This is rediculous, in a good way.
One question for the likes of yourself and smithy, where exactly would you be able to take it out for a run??

This is rediculous, in a good way. One question for the likes of yourself and smithy, where exactly would you be able to take it out for a run?? It's not what you know, it's "who" you know....I look after/maintain the old Westinghouse J-34 engine used as a track dryer at Sydney Dragway, I go out there every month or two just to check the old girl out, check oil/fuel filters and make sure it's safe to run etc...In return they let me take my toys out to the venue to have a bit of a play. Mostly I just do engine runs etc....but I've had my little jet dragster out on the track several times...In fact John came with me to the track one day early in the little dragster's development...we had a bit of a play on Australia's best drag stip...had the track all to ourselves too. I've been lucky enough to use the track for some "RC speed runs" where speeds of well over 200kmh have been recorded by some of the machines....even my little dragster has recorded some respectable numbers.....don't do it often enough though....life/work keeps getting in the way. Cheers, Smithy.

I'll mostly be doing display runs and i was having a chat to a mate i might be able to take the jet mower to Bairnsdale Drag strip here in victory Cheers, Mark.
