Hi John, Hehehe! yep and i still need to add the IC engine, seat and the top part of the combustor can. Yeah it's easy to get the mower off the tray, just got to practice my technique. The main problem i am having at the moment is it's to lite in the front and steering it is a pain in the ass I'm hoping it will improve once i get fuel in the AB fuel tank and the fuel cell tank. Cheers, Mark.

Mark, Those aluminium ramps and winch are exactly the same setup as I have for getting the "Beast" into my Transit Van. The ramps fold in half and are nice and light. I also need to use the "pre-ramps" as well otherwise the tailpipe will hit the ground.
The "Beast" was also a pig to steer, all the weight is over the rear axle, "understeer" in an understatement..! I had to cut the rear axle so she'd turn...is all good now.
Well done for getting it this far....keep the pics coming..

Hi Brett, Thanks mate. I had to fit in a 25x25x3mm tubes on one off the ramps as it bent the aluminium channels. I may have to make up some sort of coupling for the AB pipe as it might hit the ground when i pull up the mower onto the tray. How long is the AB pipe on your kart??? Cheers, Mark.

Looking at your setup you might get away with leaving a pipe on...depending on how long it is....The pipe on the "Beast" is 37-1/2 inches long from the turbine outlet and is also lower than your mower, but it will also depend on how far from the axle line your is. I suspect your mower is a fair bit heavier than the "Beast"... which, as it turns out is a lot lighter than I expected...I was assuming ~165kg dry, but it's well under that at 152kgs dry, certainly surprised me. Hi Brett, Yeah i could get away with the AB pipe will work on that later, and yes the mower will be a fair bit heavier than the Beast once i fit the IC engine and 30L engine fuel, 20L AB fuel and ! 12L oil I got the mower loaded onto the hilux today work out a technique for getting the mower on all good, so tomorrow morning off to End Z to get the HP fuel lines made and oil lines, I'm so happy i bought the hilux tray instead of the Holden ute as you can see in the pics i have plenty of room for more equipment. Made up a wooden compartment to hold fuel drums and 12V battery, tools and still have room for other stuff Cheers, Mark.

I use a 2008 2.4L turbo diesel LWB High-roof Transit van these days, can get the "Beast", my 1/4 scale dragster and all the running gear/fuel/ramps/blower etc in easily, a big bonus is that I can stand up inside the van too....plus it doesn't get wet when it rains..

Hi John, Yeah i can say i have finish with the lathe for now I decided to do something with the rear axle before i fill the tank with oil. I'm always having trouble moving the mower around As Brett said to me he cut the axle on the GT60 kart so i did the same Still a bit more work to do and will do some mods to the oil tank as well. Cheers, Mark.
